[ a window into ]
What follows is a series of reflections, fragmented by truth and design, through which I feel, trace, and share the thoughts that emerged while participating in Empathy in Action, an eight-week program of reading, dialogue, and reflection alongside incarcerated men at the Soledad Correctional Training Facility.

The process of this processing, both within this project and throughout the program, has mattered more to me than any polished conclusion or final product. What remains most meaningful is: the listening, the unlearning, and the moments of reclaimed humanity that followed.
